Whether you're an artist, a small business, or a creative entrepreneur, your website should feel like an extension of you. The Starter Website package gives you a clean, intuitive online presence that’s easy to update and ready to evolve as your business grows. Built on Squarespace, your site will be polished, professional, and fully expandable—with optional tutoring so you feel confident managing it yourself.

What’s Included for Local Clients:

  • In-Person Session
    We’ll meet to explore your goals, brand style, and content needs.

  • Website Setup
    I’ll build the structure of your site, including 3–4 pages (Home, About, Service/Portfolio, Contact), styled to match your brand.

  • Domain Support
    I can help you connect your existing domain or help you register a new one.

  • Content Placement
    I’ll format the text and images you provide into a clear and visually appealing layout.

  • 4 - 6 Stock Images
    I will provide high quality stock images that align with your brand and make your website look professional and unique.

  • One-on-One Tutoring
    Once the site is complete, we will meet in person and I’ll walk you through how to update and manage it with confidence.

Two revision rounds are included:
One after the initial build (home page + 1-2 pages), and one final round before launch. Each round includes consolidated feedback, submitted via email or a scheduled call.
Need more? No problem—extra edits or content updates can be booked at my hourly rate.

Client Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing a Squarespace subscription

  • Providing text and image content (or choosing content-related add-ons)

  • Registering or providing a domain

  • Entering business/legal/payment details within Squarespace (as needed)

Note: This package does not include e-commerce setup. If you’d like to sell products or accept bookings in the future, I offer an E-Commerce Website package for that.

2. First In-Person Meeting

  • Discuss your website vision and goals

  • Start your Squarespace subscription and select a template

  • Connect or purchase your domain (please have access info ready)

  • Create a Contributor account so I can begin designing

  • Discuss any optional add-ons

3. Initial Build

  • I’ll begin building your homepage and key pages

  • You’ll start to see your vision come to life

4. Revision

  • I’ll ask you to review the designed pages and give me feedback in one email

5. Buildout & Revisions

  • I’ll apply your feedback and design the remaining pages

  • Implement any add-ons you've selected

6. Second In-Person Meeting: Launch & Tutorial

  • Final walkthrough of your completed site and final small touchups

  • Launch day!

  • Guided tour of Squarespace so you feel confident managing your site

  • Squarespace charges a monthly subscription to host your website starting at $16 per month, but we’ll review the options together and choose the one that best fits your needs and budget.

    You’ll also need to purchase a domain (usually around $12–$20/year), unless you already own one.

  • Yes—if you're using the Basic Plan on Squarespace, a small transaction fee is applied to each sale. You can avoid this fee by upgrading to a Commerce plan.

    Additionally, payment processors like Stripe or PayPal charge standard credit card processing fees, typically a small percentage plus a flat rate per transaction. These rates may vary depending on your plan and location, and I’ll walk you through your options during our setup process.

  • Yes! Squarespace is designed to be user-friendly, and your final site will be completely editable. After our project is complete, you'll be able to add photos, update text, or even create new pages—all without needing to code. You’ll also receive a one-on-one tutorial session at the end so you feel confident maintaining your site.

  • You’re welcome to provide your own content, or you can add on services like content writing, image editing, stock image curation, or a custom photoshoot (for local clients). We’ll go over these options in our discovery session.

  • Yes! I’ll walk you through registering a domain (if you don’t already have one) and setting up your Squarespace account so everything is properly connected and ready to go.

  • I don’t offer single-page sites without e-commerce or expansion options. They can be limiting and often need to be rebuilt when your business grows. My goal is to create a site that reflects you now and gives you room to grow.

  • I primarily use Squarespace because of its ease of use, beautiful design options, and flexibility. In some cases, I also offer Shopify for clients who need more advanced product or inventory features.
