Hatch Studio Policies
A few important things to know before we begin.
I believe in clear communication, mutual respect, and smooth creative experiences. These simple policies are here to set expectations and make our collaboration feel comfortable and aligned from start to finish.
Payment & Deposits
Most design services require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. This secures your project and confirms your spot in my schedule. The remaining balance is due once the project is complete and before final files are delivered.
For hourly services and single-session offerings (like tutoring or consultations), full payment is required at the time of booking.
Payments are accepted directly through this website using secure checkout via Stripe or PayPal.
Revisions & Scope
All package-based services (like logo design or brand identity) include a set number of revision rounds, outlined clearly on the service page.
Each revision phase is structured to help keep the process focused and efficient.
If you need additional changes after the included revisions, no problem—extra revision rounds can be booked at an hourly rate. I'm always happy to support you with further refinements.
Timelines & Turnaround
Estimated timelines vary depending on the service you’ve booked and your responsiveness during the process.
I’ll always give you an estimated delivery window, and I’ll communicate with you along the way. Please note: delays in client feedback, content delivery, or approvals may affect the timeline.
If you're working on a tight deadline, let me know in advance and I’ll do my best to accommodate you if possible.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule a booked service, please contact me as soon as possible.
Deposits are non-refundable
For hourly services (like tutoring), sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. No-shows or last-minute cancellations may not be eligible for a refund.
I understand that life happens, and I’ll always aim to be as fair and flexible as possible.
Website Projects
For web design clients, please note that:
You are responsible for maintaining your website after launch, including software subscriptions, domain renewals, store operations, and any business-related content.
I’ll make sure you feel confident before we wrap up, and you’re always welcome to book tutoring sessions for future support.
Communication & Boundaries
I work best when communication is clear and focused. You’re welcome to reach out via email with questions or updates during your project. I aim to respond within 1–2 business days.
Phone calls and in-person meetings are scheduled in advance. Please consolidate feedback into single emails or calls to help keep our process flowing smoothly.
